Transportation
Students attending Finney on a Zone Transfer are ineligible to ride the bus. General Education (Grades K-6 ONLY) students living in the Chula Vista area must pre-register online to ride the school bus annually. After online registration, students can ride the bus the next day. Please let your child's teacher know if they will ride the bus. You can visit the district’s Transportation page online to register – you will need your child’s 6-digit student ID number. Students living in the Chula Vista area may ride the bus at no cost if they live at least the following distances away from school:
- Kindergarten: ¾ mile
- 1st grade: 1 mile
- 2nd & 3rd grade: 1 ¼ miles
- 4th through 6th grades: 1 ½ miles
